The Whole Wide World

I know it has been a while since I posted a clip from the "In Conversation" interview. I've been a wee bit busy is all. I finally had some time over the weekend to catch my breath and do the screen caps on this section. So, here is the one and only, Mr. D'Onofrio, talking about my personal favorite film of his...to date...The Whole Wide World.

Video

Slideshow

Three "small" segments to go, and I'll get to them as soon as I can...promise.

Glad you have some time to post these. I still haven't seen the entire thing so I'm really enjoying it. :-)

A wonderful movie that deserves far more recognition than it got; however we can only feel sympathy for those who don't know what they're missing! Always loved the fact that they ran out of money, so the bus Rene travels on at the end was courtesy of a certain Mr Vincent D'Onofrio ;0)

Ah, I didn't know there was more! You're so kind to share it, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to see it :)

Music Wench, am happy to do it. And was especially glad to have something else to do besides WORK for a change to get this one done. So glad you are enjoying them.

Ruby, let me know if you have any problems getting through to them. I know you will enjoy this DVD; the quality of the DVD is far better than the videos I posted because I had to convert it to a different format in order to split the videos the way I did. The slideshows are caps from the DVD, so you can see they are much clearer.

Diane, I remember reading or hearing somewhere that VDO had put some money into the film, but did not know it was for the bus. Or if I did, I had forgotten. Nice bit of trivia.

Tjara, it took me a few days to get around to this one due to work time cutting into my personal time, which is starting to wear thin, I tell ya. But I am very happy to have a job, so I'll try to not complain too much. LoL There are still three segments to go, but I probably won't have time to work on them until closer to the weekend.

Thanks to all for stopping by.

Ahhh, my heart just swells everytime I watch these great clips. I just love him so. Some really great "handy" caps. As always thanks for sharing BobbyG.

Hi Beverly, you are very welcome. As for the "handy" caps, the man does "speak" with his hands, doesn't he? And they are prominently displayed throughout this interview.

I'm bummed!!

Every time I have sent an email through the METV website asking about purchasing a copy of this interview, I never get a response.

Has anyone else tried to contact them and gotten no response either??

Thank You for putting this up..I have watched the whole thing but I tend to forget bits because I get sidetracked into watching him rather than listening :-)

Vincent also (I believe) paid for the music in TWWW. It's been a long time since I listened to the commentary on the dvd but I think Dan said something about it
